Who Are We?
Doctrinal Statement
Our church receives the Scriptures as the inspired Word of God. Its understanding of Christian truth is summarized as follows:

1. The Old and New Testament Scriptures were written by holy men of God who were moved by the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 3:16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17), and are the only sufficient and perfect rule of faith and practice.

2. There is one God, and only One, Who is self-existent, eternal, perfect in every area of His being, and Who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit: The same in essence, though distinct in personality (1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 3:16-17; John 1:1-4; John 14:26; Hebrews 1:1-4).

3. Jesus Christ, Son of God and the Son of Man, came into the world by virgin birth to save men from the guilt and condemnation of sin, offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him (Matthew 1:18-21; John 1:12; Romans 10:13; 1 Peter 1:17-21).

4. The result of heart-acceptance of Jesus Christ is justification, and whereby pardon is secured and we are brought into a state of peace and favor with God. Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (Also Romans 5:1; Ephesians 1:3-14).
Mission Statement
Our mission: 1.) Win People to Christ, 2.) Teach Them God’s Word, and 3.) Send Them Out to Do God’s Work.

1.) Winning people to Christ means to share with individuals the gospel whereby they see their lost condition, they realize that Jesus Christ is the only One who can save them because He died on the cross for their sins and rose again, and they call upon the name of Jesus in faith relying upon Him to save them. This includes cleansing them from all their sins and freely granting them eternal life.

2.) Teaching them God’s Word includes guiding those who profess Christ as Savior to have a good understanding of the important truths of the Bible, and then helping them to apply those truths so that they live godly, Spirit-filled lives and they live righteously to please God and be a witness to the world for Jesus.

3.) Sending them out to do God’s work means to have them equipped sufficiently in the knowledge and practice of God’s Word so that become actively involved in various ministries of the local church, using their spiritual gifts. This sending can refer to ministry here at home in the local church, or relocating to perform ministry in another nation or unique people group. Biblical ministry and discipleship will include evangelism.
